Pay It Forward

You get bombarded by insensitive people who are only concerned about number one - themselves. They are real jerks in making you look as bad as possible. You know the type. You don’t trust them because they are selfish, and that makes you unhappy. Ironically, when you help someone, the good deed makes you feel happy, and the person you help is put off balance. What a feeling! And your day has been well spent.

The movie, “Pay It Forward” is about a young boy who makes the world a better place when his teacher gives him an assignment. When you do something nice for someone, then that person does something nice for someone else. And so it goes until the attitude of people has changed to the positive.

Your generosity keeps life thriving. Being generous especially at work will be very rewarding. Business in America today is service oriented. The more people you help, the more business will come your way. This is the same idea described in the Universal Law of Attraction.

One way to help others is to organize mentoring programs. The secret is that the mentor gets more out of mentoring than the person being mentored. Overall though, both people benefit from the generosity.

Garden Accessories

You can give your garden personality when you accessorize it. Gardens de-stress your life so you’ll want your yard to look attractive. Place accessories next to a flowering plant accentuates the bloom. Your favorite area in your garden is a perfect place to put a statue or a bird bath.

When you want a romantic garden decore, you can add statues, feeders, birdbaths or garden stones. Check out Chloe’s Chic Boutique.

Decks and patios are a perfect place to hang plants, lanterns, and wind chimes. The pictured Hummingbird Lantern is only $14.95. You can find one of a kind outdoor and indoor accessories on this website.

However, don’t over do. A cluttered garden loses its appeal. Remember the saying, “Less is more.” Before you buy an accessory, measure the spot where it goes first. The accessory that is too big won’t blend with your plants.

In addition to the style of the accessory, the material also must complement your garden. Accessories are made from these materials: ceramic, iron, cooper, cement, bronze, marble, natural stone, even resin and plastic. Visualize in your mind accessories’ texture, style, and color.

Many websites have free shipping when you purchase outdoor garden furniture. You’ll find more unique items online than you will at department stores.

Easiest Way to see the United States

The easiest way to see the United States is by train. To book train travel, know in advance what you want to see and what you want to do. Amtrak will take you most anywhere except the Virgin Islands. You can call Amtrak at 800-USA-RAIL or go on there website.

Amtrak’s website has all the information that you’ll need, such as, travel times, travel destinations, and weekly specials. When you book a train reservation on the official Amtrak website,  you can take advantage of promotions that Amtrak offers. Also, if you are fifty five and older, you and your family are eligible for the senior citizen discount.

Purchasing your tickets online is easy. It is also the way to get the best price. Then, when you check in, you can use the Automated Kiosk, which will save you time. Seeing the United States by train will save you money in fuel and wear and tear on your car.

However, if you insist on bringing your car, then consider renting a hybrid for your trip. Car traveling will leave a huge carbon footprint on the planet so be kind to Earth and travel by hybrid. Then you will have an eco-friendly vacation.

Accepting Who You Are

Your normal is going to be different from another person's normal. When you understand this, you show empathy, such as, knowing how it feels to walk in another person’s shoes.

Judging people  and assuming are wrong because it focuses on the negative. Remember the saying, “The glass is half full.” Focus on the positive in a person, and  you will see a hidden side of them - their self-confidence.

When you compliment another person, always be sincere. If a person is overweight, let them know that they have desirable traits too, like a pretty face. People can see right through you when you’re not being straight with them.

Saying out loud every morning daily affirmations reinforces your positive traits. This is one way to release your confidence, and change your life in a positive way.

Facing obstacles and overcoming challenges make you into the person that deserves to be rewarded. You become the person you were meant to be during your down times.

When you come to a crossroad in your life, your decisions are as unique as you are  – not a carbon copy of someone else. Your journey in life is not about your position. It's about your disposition.
